We know from experience of running our other properties that it’s really all about location, location, location.
Aughris is an IDEAL location for a complete chill out. Many of our guests enjoy the fantastic local beaches and scenery by day, and in the evenings dine and/or enjoy a few drinks at the nearby Beach Bar. For those that want to pack more into their visit, there are plenty of options without having to travel very far.
Think about…

Walking – an extract from feedback on TripAdvisor
The location is wonderful in a peaceful, tranquil and rural setting very close to the beach and the Beach Bar and with great views of Knocknarea, which is a worthwhile climb or for a longer walk do the 15km walk which takes in the climb starting & finishing in Strandhill.
The area is an ideal base for walking. We walked the Sligo Way over 3 days, starting in Lough Talt & finishing 73kms later in Dromahair. Beautiful & varying scenery all along the way. If 3 days is not for you any section of this way is breathtaking.
Closer to home is the Aughris Head/Dunmoran Strand Walk, a gorgeous cliff walk.
